From EU experience to an Italian Initiative: how statistics support Southeast Asia in tackling climate change
On 9 October 2026, the closing event of the European Union Twinning project “Enhancing the Quality of the Statistical System in Cambodia” took place in the capital Phnom Penh. The project focused on strengthening Cambodia’s national statistical system. AICS Hanoi participated in the event at the invitation of the Delegation of the European Union to Cambodia, with a view to exploring opportunities for continuing European and Italian cooperation in this field.
Energy Transition and Private Sector Development: Mission of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti to Vietnam

AICS Hanoi and Quang Tri Province: A Strong Partnership for Sustainable Development
A delegation from the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, in central Vietnam, led by Hoang Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, met with Dr. Margherita Lulli, Head of the AICS Hanoi Office. The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the long-standing cooperation between Quang Tri Province and the Italian Government, particularly in the framework of the ongoing Italy- Vietnam Debt for Development Swap Programme. It also marked the official introduction of Mr. Hoang Nam to AICS Hanoi in his new role as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and as the official responsible for projects funded through Official Development Assistance (ODA) in Quang Tri Province.
