Fifth ASEAN Italy Development Partnership Committee meeting
The Italy-ASEAN Development Partnership, in effect since September 2020, aims to strengthen relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations for the stability and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific. The Practical Cooperation Areas, priority areas of collaboration for the period 2022-2026, focus on the political-security, economic, and socio-cultural sectors, with the goal of promoting connectivity and supporting a shared development gap in areas of common interest and expertise.
ASEAN: Launch of the Project of Italian Cooperation – COOPMEC
The Steering Committee of the initiative “Cooperation Mechanism for the Competitive Development of Aquaculture and Small-Scale Fisheries in ASEAN – COOPMEC” held its first meeting on 9th October 2025, marking the official launch of the first Italian Cooperation project within the framework of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), under the Italy–ASEAN Development Partnership.

Italy-ASEAN Partnership: AICS Delegation participates in the fourth Steering Committee
The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, AICS, Hanoi Office took part in the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia, together with the Italian Ambassador to Jakarta, Benedetto Latteri held today.
Sustainable Agriculture: AICS supports ASEAN Countries
The Italian Joint Committee, during the last meeting on November 6th, approved the initiative "Scientific and technical support for sustainable agriculture in ASEAN countries -3S" for the amount of 2,829,198.58 Euro.
